Thanks for participating in the first meeting of SN School Research Scholars Forum (SNSRSF??)
Recap:
What should the purpose of the forum be?
- To exchange ideas and knowledge between research scholars in the SN School
- To provide a forum for faculty to guage the level of exchange and participation happening on the research programs.
How will we operate? Some working plans till all the research scholars meet:
- To begin with, we will be relatively less structured, meeting once an week with a discussion agenda between ourselves. We'll document the outcomes of the discussion for future reference.
- Once we fall into the routine and have an established participation, we will invite faculty to our reviews and perhaps scholars from other disciplines as well.
- Starting next week, we meet every monday from 11 am to 1 pm
- In October and November, we will invite the faculty once a month to the forum, and later perhaps twice a month.

In the next meeting let us introduce our broad area of research to the group. This will help in identifying some common area of interest and also sharing useful idea amongst us.
Let us also finalise atleast five topics to be discussed in the subsequent weeks and assign one topic to each member. S(H)e does extensive reading on it and the rest can give their input/query during discussion.
I think the blog can be kept open for all to view.

NEW THINGS WILL COME UP BY DOING THIS TYPE OF GROUP WORK IN S.N SCHOOL BY COLLABERATING ALL THE DEPRTMENTS SCHOLORS. WE NEED TO DISCUSS IN DETAIL ABOUT THE PARTICULAR COMMON AREAS WHICH ARE USEFULL IN EVERYONES RESEARCH. IN MY VIEW AS MANAS SAID RESEARCH SHOULD BE BROADER TO NARROW FOR THIS FIRST I WANT TO START WITH BROAD ASPECTS OF MY AREA AFTER FEW MONTHS I CAN MAKE IT AS PARTICULAR AREA WHICH IS NEED FULL FOR ACADEMICS AND MY SELF. IAM SUGGESTING U THAT CAN U GIVE ME INFORMATION ABOUT THEATRE AND FILM RESEARCHES DONE BEFORE.
